The versatility of the Priorclave QCS range of front loading laboratory autoclaves will be clearly on display at the forthcoming Medlab* exhibition, an integral part of the Arab Health show. Visitors to the Priorclave stand at Medlab (Hall 7, stand K13) will be able to see first-hand the build quality and discuss the many benefits this range can bring to improving the sterilising routine of a busy laboratory. The QCS autoclave range includes a number of models with sterilising chambers form 100 up to 200 litre. A big benefit for a lab manager in selecting a Priorclave QCS autoclave model is that they offer 20% more loading capacity than other sterilisers of the same size. Also, the use of a cylindrical chamber contributes to a simpler build and this is reflected in the price at which Priorclave can bring these advanced designed, front .loading autoclaves to the global market. The significant design benefits ensure that a busy laboratory with limited budget is able to acquire a larger machine and with better loading capacity enabling both small and taller than usual items to be sterilises side by side in a single process. These factors could contribute significantly to improving a laboratory’s sterilising performance and output. Centre stage on the Priorclave stand at Medlab will be the QCS EH100 steam steriliser, a 100 litre capacity autoclave with a 500mm diameter chamber. The autoclave has been fitted with a clear side panel to allow visitors to stand K13 in hall 7 to get a clear view of the clean, structured lines of the autoclave build. Controls could not be easier with single push-buttons actuation for setting the sterilising process through Tactrol®2, an advanced microprocessor control system. One touch controls allows for adjustment of temperature and time for simple cycles to fully featured multi-programme operation. In addition a log is stored of the sterilising cycle, data such as temperature, pressure and time is held in an archive file which can be subsequently downloaded. Built to International Standards, the QCS EH100 autoclave incorporates epoxy coated panels and frame members treated with an anti-bacterial agent which is highly effective against all bacteria and fungi including MRSA, E.coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella and Pseudomonas, helping to preventing cross contamination within the laboratory. The QCS front loading research and laboratory grade autoclaves are part of a much wider range, include benchtop, top and front loading free-standing, double-door, stackable and powerdoor models all design and built by Priorclave at its dedicated UK design manufacturing centre. * MEDLAB 2016 – 25 – 28 January 2016, Dubai World Trade Center, UAE
